Ruptsi Winery
Ruptsi Winery, established in 1939, is the first and oldest winery in Vidin region, located in the westernmost part of the Danube plain, which is a registered viticulture region of the famous variety Gamza and wines under the same name.
The actual cellar is completely preserved until today and over the years has been expanded and was fully completed in 1968. In 2002 a program for creating your own vineyards was initiated and successfully implemented.
Today the Ruptsi Winery has vineyards, consisting of white varieties (Chardonnay, Traminer, Kaylashki Muscat and Muscat) and red varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Gamza). It annually processes from 2000 to 2500 tons of grapes.
The winery also produces grape, apple and quince brandy. The company is constantly working on creating new and quality products, as this attracts leading experts in the industry and presents opportunities for entering new markets.
Major customers of the winery are companies from Japan, Germany and Poland.
