Dolna Banya Winery

Dolna Banya Winery was established in 1974 and is located in the Thracian Lowland. Until 1994, the enterprise functioned as a production plant of fruit wines within the APC “Kiril Lazarov.” That same year the company was reconstructed, modernized and put into operation the production of grapes, wines and other beverages.

Dolna Banya Winery also buys and processes grapes up to the final product- still white and red wines, sparkling wines and spirits.

The winery is constantly being modernized. In this regard, a cellar was built and put into operation in 2004 for aging red and white wines.

The plant has one of the best equipped and modern laboratories in Bulgaria. Bottling capacities are divided into four bottling lines with a capacity of more than 12,000 bottles per hour.

The volume of annual wine production of the winery is around 12 million bottles and over 85 % of them are allocated for export to countries such as Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Mongolia, Turkey, Iraq, the Czech Republic, Germany, USA and others.
